Share a verse

Here's one of my favorite passages from the Bible. What's yours?

  • Psalm 37:4-6 (NIV) Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.

Hi Pitts, this is hhollyd. I'm sure if you read any of my blog you will know that I am feeling somewhat ambivalent toward religion right now. I do read the Bible, quite often. I'm just not sure how I feel about it at the moment.
Mostly just wanted to say "hi" and let you know that I have added you to my list of favorites. I'll have to get back to you on the favorite Bible verse thing.
Hugs,
hh

"Do unto others and you would have them do unto you". If everyone lived by that...What a wonderful world it would be.

I'll have to go with Pam's choice, as well. That or the one about worrying about the mote in your neighbor's eye and not the plank that is in your own. that's a very loose paraphasing of it, but... that one always made a big impression on me when the preacher would base his sermon on it.
