Quilts

The "transportation" quilt was made for one of my nephews. The blue and rose quilt was for a quilting contest (was one of 25 semi-finalists). The one with the bears and the chicks was for another nephew.

Wow. That is so wonderful. How long did it take to make it? I love those colors. That blue is so beautiful.

Glad you like it. It took me several years because I was working on another one at the same time and of course work kept me busy. I had a lot of fun with it. Once I decided on the transportation theme I started searching the internet for submarine and motorcycle pictures. The train border is modeled after a little wooden train I spotted at a craft fair.
I'll try to find pictures of the others and post them. Would be nice to have a record of them :-)

Stunning! You've got a fabulous talent. I wish we lived closer so I can learn how to quilt from you.

Just stopping by to say hi and to say I hope the healthy thing is going well for you. I support you!!

Thanks for all of the kind comments. I really enjoy quilting and crafts. Wish I had more time to devote to them. Almost finished with one for my niece. It's all cats :-)
